About Samantha Smith

My background is diverse, and I feel that gives me a unique perspective to design. My professional life started in elementary education, which I loved but was not a great fit for me career-wise. I moved into finance, briefly, and then found my way into design sales. I sold high end flooring and Italian glass mosaics to A&D firms, and I loved it.

While working closely with architects and designers on some pretty amazing projects, I soon realized that I ultimately wanted to be on the other side of the table. I had always dabbled in decorating, “for fun,” and this was the first time I realized that creative jobs and careers were really possible.

I was highly influenced by my grandmother, who was the quintessential style-icon, to me, both in fashion and interiors. She was a hairdresser and made her personal elevated style look both polished and effortless, and I wanted to translate that into interiors.

So I took a giant leap and went back to school for a degree in Interior Design. After graduating from design school, I spent several years as an interior designer in A&D offices, focusing on commercial and residential design work. And when the opportunity presented itself, I decided to venture off on my own to focus on full-service design and project management, and I have never looked back.

I have a true passion for design, and it still absolutely thrills me that I get to do what I love every day! I believe our homes are not only a reflection of us but also can be the environment where we feel the most comfortable and the most joyful.

Classic, timeless, and elevated design is my goal on every project, no matter what style category it may fall into. I am grateful for every trusting client who allows me to share my passion and bring their space to life.
